It's hard to tell from the pictures but it looks like there may be some funky waviness in the rocker panels, and the fit of both doors looks questionable as well.
The lower side trim could have been removed when some rust repairs were made, so be sure to bring a magnet along if you decide to go and take a look at it.

I must say that I do like the way that color looks on a Karmann Ghia, though.

I could probably check it out with my dad, see if its as good as it looks. He owned paint and body shop for over a decade. Hes would know if its a good buy.

And I agree that color looks surprisingly well.
