He's at it again.. Posted an ad on Eugene craigslist yesterday for a '55 23 window, with an address in Portland.
Tried to get $500 deposit to hold the bus.
The cell number he's using is (213) 807-4714,
And the address he's sending people to in Portland is 13303 NW SPRINGVILLE RD. PORTLAND OR 97229.
He got more & more angry as the money didn't go through into his account, finally threatening to meet me at the gate of the property & kick my ass on principal for not sending the deposit!

guy posted a ad in ft Collins, CO craigslist for a 1965 911 Porsche. I emailed and he texted me from that same number saying he was showing the car at noon today with a ft Collins address. Evil or Very Mad

It wasn't Allen, but I got a text yesterday from a 720-599-2496 number trying to scam me on a car I was selling...had me send them an invoice from paypal and then they sent me what to the common person would look like legit emails from paypal saying that the money was deducted from their account and waiting for me to forward there shipper 1,000.00 via western union to someone in Dallas, TX.

I have since forwarded all the emails to paypal.

As you may know, 323 is in Los Angeles - mid town/Hollywood.

3-4 months ago, a very similar listing was on LA Craigslist with a 661 area code number.

Wonder how many deposits he gets?

I texted him and he claims to be showing the 55' bus in Valley Center,CA near Temecula tomorrow at 6pm

Same ad appears on SD Craigslist. Here is my experience:

A recent ad yesterday popped up that sounds and looks too good to be true.

"1960 vw bus - $8000
needs full restoration complete inside and out I have the title please leave your number" The ad yesterday had a picture of a samba with the rear end clearly of a earlier bus, 56 or so.

Today the picture is gone (ad is still up) and another ad was posted stating the original ad is a fake.

The seller then sent me a text today claiming:
"I'm showing the VW bus today at 5 p.m. I have 6 people saying they wanted so first come first serve. 31437 Larga Vista Valley Center. CA 92082"

and a text that it was a 60 and there was a title.

The new telephone number the scammer is using is 818-660-3693 which is a northern LA County #. Watch out!!!!!

There have been enough people, especially in the S. CA area, that I am surprised there has not been one person who took the law into their own hands
