So what is everyone's favorite online store for purchasing parts? I'm 60 miles from an interstate, so I'm not going to have anything local other than autozone.

Depends on what you're after and the quality you want.

Thanks! I've heard of some of those places, but not all of them.

@bikelash - There are always exceptions to this, but generally speaking, I tend to buy it once, buy it right. The overarching advice I see on the forums is to buy genuine VW parts whenever possible rather than aftermarket.

I don't have a lot of options locally so I have been using a mixture of the following.

www.cip1.com
And www.jbugs.com

The top two have free shipping over $100 on most items. I haven't ordered from jbugs in the past few months so can't remember if they have the same type of deal.

You've got 4 threads going on this car right now. I'd suggest consolidating a bit and concentrating on one build thread. Some folks who can be the most help to you will drop out when they feel it's a ping pong match trying to keep up on your many threads.

Read current threads on the best companies and repairs. Buy a good service manual that you understand (Are you a Bentley guy or a Muir guy- or somewhere between?).

I am 50 miles from the interstate I-40. I find VW parts here in the classifieds. By the way Glowiie where the heck are you located 60 miles from the interstate.
