I don't know what this is. Well, I know what it is, but what kind and what might it fit? I haven't seen a header where the flange points down like that. It's a 4 bolt rectangular flange. Can someone please help ID it?

Correction - it has a square 4 bolt flange, not rectangular. I played around with it this morning, thinking maybe it was an old buggy exhaust that was assembled upside down, but no.

Type 3, maybe made by Cyclone.

Yes! It looks exactly like that, but nicer Very Happy Thanks

There is a paper label on it: VWE-1. After a little research I didn't find anything about VW headers, but did find some Hedman ads from the 60's and 70's. Their part number system was just like that.
