Can't wait to get started. Brought home a 1965/66 912 complete numbers matching car stored inside a barn and a 1969 911e stored outside unfortunately though engine and parts stored inside along with enough extras to put it back together. Numbers match as well. Been sitting since 88. Even had a pair of Weber 40Ids carbs off a 67 in the mix. Definitely starting on the 912 first as it is close to starting now. I do intend to repaint it back to original which was Bahama yellow. The 911 will have to wait as its got to have it all!

I am still evaluating the cars. On the 66 912 the prev owner had taken apart the interior door panels off so I put it back together to make sure I had all the pieces. Plan on starting the engine in march and see what we have. I confirmed this week that the 69 911e is numbers matching, it needs the whole bottom pan as the center is gone, needs rockers and front which may be more time than I have. The prev owner had plans to repair it I guess since he bought some of the parts but this was back before they were worth bringing back from the grave and he gave up. He basically stripped all removable parts stuck them in the barn and pushed the chassis outside. The 14 inch Fuchs are there and the aluminum calipers are on.

I guess everythings for sale though I really don't have a number on it. I have owned lots of Porsches but none this old and was looking forward to driving it. The 69 911e might be as I have the facility to repair it, but not the time right now to repair a chassis.

The doors, fenders, rear glass, hood, deck lid, spare wheel, engine parts were stored in with the 912. the trans axle is still in the car. He had some of replacement panels new in boxes. I think the original color was dark Burgundy.
