Does anyone remember the issue of HVWs that had a tech article for using Type 3 rear brakes on a Bug?

You can find all the information in the HBB Off-Road forums. Those guys do it all the time.

Wow - you seriously think someone really has that type of memory ?????

Well, it turns out that I do have a pornographic memory. Unfortunately, that doesn't help in this case.

So I looked it up for you in my home-built Hot VWs technical index. So you want the August 1999 issue, which has my spreadsheet heading "BRAKES - INSTALLING LARGER TYPE 3 REAR ONTO BUG"

Yes, see I found you :D

I really do appreciate the info:!: :!: :!:

I was installing a set of disc brakes on the rear of my Bonneville Bug, but found the kit doesn't fit very well...And as I have two type 3s, I'm going the direction of the larger type 3 brakes instead of discs...
