So after many postings and what not, I have finally started a build thread, Ill put a few pictures of when I received it and some from while currently attempting to Revive it. A lot of money and work so far but I'm achieving the look I want. A rough Mud Buggy that can take a beating and be used around the land I live on along with occasional drives around town. There has been a lot of criticism about the use of bedliner. I know the risk I took and I have accepted that. Worst comes to worst and I would have had to buy a new body but it has been almost a year now and it is still holding strong!
This is what the buggy looked like when it made it into my hands.
This is a short time down the road when I got it bedlinered.
This is when I got my new tires, I was rubbing badly.
This is after some torsion adjustment to raise rear end.
I was out and about playing around.
A few days ago i bought a 20" light bar and added it to roll cage! sure is bright!
And this is a picture I caught during a lightening storm right after it was bedlinered.

by the way, we dropped the torsion back down another notch, we started at 2 notches and that was obviously way to much. |

Looks good, I am not sure what you are missing. I think different tail lights may change the look. Also consider two lights on front bumper.
Great buggy and enjoy. (I like the bed liner, looks good and practical) _________________ If I knew what I was doing; I wouldn't be building a buggy! |

I have a set of these rims laying around, problem is they are +5 offset, is that to much for a buggy front end?

Wheel width and backspacing?
5mm is less than 1/4" - which shouldn't pose a problem? You'll want close to 4.5" of back spacing to clear the suspension. Of course, having to run a wheel adapter will add to the back spacing.
I like the overall look - rough and tumble! Looks perfect for running around the property off-road. Might want to look into some slightly larger rear torsion bars to keep those rears off the bodywork.
