Found a 1970 karman guia with an irs. Can I swap everything to my 1999 mexican beetle? Mine has a swaped pan from and irs apparently because it already has the brackets for the suspension, so I don't need to do any mod to my frame I believe. .

This is something I would do in te future but if I can buy the parts now and store them.

Would that be a direct swap?

Thanks

If your beetle is sitting on an IRS frame, then it should work just fine. I'm curious to know though... weren't you getting a rebuilt transmission from Rancho?

Thanks guys

Hi Frank, yes I did get a new transmission from rancho. I just want to upgrade to to irs in the future. If I can buy this set up and later find a buyer for mine I'll swap everything Or at least find a buyer for my transmission.
