More likely it was sold to a civilian but they had to "remove" the police insignia. Surprised they would sell it with the flashing lights still on it though, you'd think they'd recover the money for that.

you'd have to slam the door while holding the window button down to get the window to roll down, cruise never worked, the dash was wrinkling (we put a visor in the windshield) it would just quit running cause it thought it was aout of gas had to have a whole new fuel pump put in because of one faulty sensor, the blinker switch went bad...twice. the passenger door regulator broke...twice (cheezy plastic pieces) no body panel on the car fit well.

but holy crap it was a fun car to drive...when it ran.

i dont know how its done in europe, but here when a police car is being serviced and road tested, they cover up the police insignia and lightbar and put a "not in service" sign in the side windows.

I've had my fair share of problems with 90's fullsize chevy/gmc's

out of all 3 that I owned, they all had the typical chevy cancer, all did not have wipers due to a manufacturer recall, horns didn't work. But damn those trucks were work horses with a drinking problem

My two worse, a '77 Triumph TR-7, and a 2000 Hyundai Elantra. Both made me a pedestrian many times.

I'm surprised, Hyundai used to be a crappy company and seem to be okay now.
