Are you talking about one of those threaded plastic ones with the three ribs on the cover? Those aren't available new and the old ones are fragile and hard to come by and would be expensive to replate.
There are a bunch of threads in the archives on various options for filler covers. I prefer a hood mounted flip top cap. If I was going with a door that covers the cap, I'd go with something new. Marine supply and automotive both have them

I have a bare Berry Mini T body and have never really looked at them. Where does the fuel tank mount, and is a stock VW fuel tank used? _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

The fuel tank is mounted above the transaxle. I have seen stock fuel tanks used in pictures. A reproduction Model T fuel tank could work, I know the space is there for it. _________________

Thanks Nelson! I will have to make a front bumper like that and get it chrome plated. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

As BL3Manx says, those old 3 rib caps are long since discontinued (IIRC they were last sold by Jonny's Speed & Chrome) and corrently available ones are bigger and usually only available in black or white. Have you considered a flip cap like an Aston or Monza? They're pretty cheap, usually sold for older style Mini Coopers etc.

Stainless deck plates are still available from 3 to 6 inches in diameter....type "stainless deck plate" in EBay. The older style that is similar to the new plastic plates are a little harder to find (these are not the tribar that were used back in the day). The more common variety use a special tool to open. |

"Back in the day" some builders used a 63 to 67 Corvette fuel door. These are still easy to get from Corvette restoration suppliers. _________________ 69 Meyers Manx II on 65 pan, 1 owner !
