The Ghia is looking well. So is the weather.
Here's a quick peek of my current weather situation.

I'm getting a bit antsy for some warmer weather.
Thanks for the inspiration Cool

hi all, just a quick update.

Its hare to believe it has been over 5 years since i first laid eyes on this car and decided to bring it home, and almost 3 years since it has been on the road.

It has become so much a part of the family that it even feels wrong to say "this car".

The Ghia, as she is known in our household.

She has brought us so much enjoyment and time together as a family, taking day trips and meeting new people in the automotive circles, some of which have now become great friends.

I love this little car.

Love this Ghia restoration. Car is stunning!

Regarding the new rear discs, can I ask where you got the rear disk conversion kit? I'm thinking of doing the same, but I too have to convert from 4 lug to 5 lug before the Fuchs can go on.

In adding the Porsche pattern 5-lug rotors up front, did you also have to convert from ball joint to King Link? The only rotors I can find like this seem to be for King-Link only.

Any help will be mostly appreciated! Very Happy

the rear disk conversion kit can be bought from CIP1 as well as many other retailers.

the front disks are just replacement rotors with the 5x130 pattern, no changes were done to the beam at all. just old disks off.. new disks on.
