My point indeed. Now many of those once helpful posts are not nearly as helpful in text only mode. |

re Dogpilot: I'm pretty sure he sold his van. (As most all of us will do someday.)
Yes, linking to Samba gallery pages will help ensure better linking and active photos long in to the future, so please do it when possible.

I think this thread is a perfect example of that. Were everyone only so considerate as to freely sharing, instead of controlling their attached images and removing them when it suits their fancy ... Dogpilot was a perfect example of that. A wealth of knowledge while he was here, but then took his ball and went home ... |
There are many reasons why one would want control over the photos we post.
Photobucket for me.
Easy smartphone uploading and one button to break all or any single links from social media and forums.
I suggest that any business watermarks the pictures they post.
Just my 2cents. |

Another one who does not freely share, but lends while it suits his fancy ... But that is nothing new. |

I wish everyone would use the samba gallery for their photos used in posts..... BUT, I also realize that not everyone wishes to do that and I can respect their choice. I am glad that we have many here who give us a lot of information to digest. _________________ Dave O
