Top or bottom power train removal

Ok probably a dumb question
do you remove the water cooled engine and transaxle out the top or bottom.
the reason I'm asking as I met a guy doing a swap between two diesel pickups and he went out the bottom and lifted the body up.
seemed strange to me

It can be done either way. I have removed the power train out the top and removed them out of the bottom also. It is a little easier from the bottom.

Not a dumb question either.... Wink
