Hi, I've just bought a set of these original ATS classic wheels (originally from a 1303s convertible) here's a picture I found in the gallery;

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Can anyone tell me what bolts to buy for them please? The look like they are tapered rather than domed, but not sure of the degree of taper, and the length of the bolt needed.

Thanks in advance Smile

You might need these conical seat lug bolts. Post a close up picture of the lug bolt seat for us to see, when they arrive. I bought my longer ball seat Mercedes style lug bolts for my 2.0 Liter wheels from these guys after some careful measuring for length. Cool

Got a 60 degree taper bolt to try yesterday, it looks like it fits nicely. I will test the thread length on the weekend by taking one of the drums off and post back here.

What were your results?

Several l years back, I bought a set from a guy that had them on a '71 Super Beetle. They were the wrong offset for his bug and the fronts were scraping on the back sides. Luckily, they were just right for my 914.

I don't know if they were re-machined for VW ball seat lug bolts, but they've been working fine all this time Question

I recently bought another set that were on a 914. They came with a full set of lug bolts, but I haven't checked the taper (or ball arc) on them yet ...
