I'd care for further explanation on this. _________________ Wash your hands

Found a Bugpack 4062-10 cam in my parts that I didn't know I had. Can anybody comment on how they think this would work in a 1915 with stock heads and any of the carbs setups I mentioned initially? What does super torquer actually mean? I found the quote below from this website.
http://www.lowbugget.com/bugpack_cams.html
4062-10 .425 284º .484/.542 Super Torquer! Our most popular cam sold. Excellent low end and mid range. Moderate idle good up to 6500 rpm.
The .425 is with 1.1's the other ones .484 and 5.42 are with 1.25 and 1.4's respectively. |
It'll be fine. My friend has that "absolute exact "combo in his ghia. 40hpmxs, stock heads, runs great. Real close to a 110 cam. _________________ 62 vert

Take the time to read what Gene Berg had to say about stock & lightened flywheels. _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK

I read the article about the heavier pulley for lightened flywheels on drag applications. I'll read the other ones though.
I don't want to debate on it, just seems that some vehicles would want different weights. But, I don't know. _________________ Wash your hands

Great low end torque. Rarely rev over 3K...

I just put a 1915 in my baja and love it. But I also have SNPS and spent too much. lol
That means "shiny new parts syndrom".
I have a lightened flywheel. It is a very snappy motor. I'm gonna try a stock weight flywheel next time the motor comes off to see if its reduces that at all. _________________ Ms Hoover, I glued my head to my shoulder.

Ripped into a single port motor yesterday and found it actually had Mahle 90.5's in it in good shape. I bought this motor thinking it was a 16. Strange that it was a 1776. In any case, I may just go ahead and use those. I am sure some may think that's stupid but so far I have found almost everything I need to build this motor at home. Why not? I don't exactly have tons of money to spend. _________________ 64 Bug
