So, I am still trying to figure out this wheel and tire situation. I plan on buying 15x5, maybe 15x5.5 BRM wheels. Now where Im stuck... Would a 195/65r15 tire be ok on these? They would be going on a stock height 65' bus. Im trying to avoid big bulky tires also. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have run 195 65 15's on stock smoothies with no problems so a 5 inch rim shouldn't cause issues. FWIW I hate that big chunky tire look on a bus too!
Did you check in the bus forums for wheel tire specs. It's for lowered buses but it might show the combo your going for to give you an idea of what you want to achieve. _________________ Looking for anything from Hal Casey Motors out of Hamburg New York, from license plate surrounds to matchbooks.

If you purchase the 5" wide wheels you could go with 185/65-15 tires, which would be a better fit for your wheel and also give you a bit more fender clearance (if needed). |
