No, they will just cost you more to ship them.

So is Greyhound replacing all the buses in it's entire fleet US wide?

Missed the sarcasm Doug.
Trying to drive the cost down on a middle seat I want. Razz

Sorry, what I ment to say was, looks like the cost of middle seat just got cheaper!

Ya was bummed out. I think I wrote the new dimensions at the office, if I did I will post. I think that other stuff like fenders etc would be ok, the issue was the height, believe it is limited to 24". Greyhound did say that they could sit on it until one of the old busses came through the station, but it could take months. Lol. The seller and I were talking about it and we both thought that the older buses up there in the Rust Belt would get replaced faster than the ones that run the Southwest and the West Coast.

I posted on uship, lol $581 to get seat here!? So just make sure and get your dimensions and weights right and call them before you go through the trouble we did.

Might be cheaper to ship truck line on a pallet then on ups usps. Worth checking into anyways.

I get really good LTL rates (semi truck) for shipping my racks. Feel free to email me and I can get you a quote.

On a pallet or crated is best for a semi truck as they load / unload with forklifts.

How are we going ship big stuff, like hoods and fenders now?...

Buses don't have hoods or fenders.

D'oh.

Epiphany!

Also, that really sucks.

You try Amtrak? I use to send stuff through them, but it's been a little while.

I just checked the site and it says #100 limit, 82" by 47" by 30"...the last measurement is the killer. I see Lyft/Uber type services stepping into this realm very quickly. I have used CL rideshare with very good results to move large items. There is so much unused capacity in all the cross country travel there really should be an app. for this much needed business transaction. U-ship is badly hampered by brokers and if you are out of the way pretty much useless.

As of 9/30/22 Greyhound no longer does any shipping so How have people been shipped middle seats? I’m looking at one from out of state and need a way to get it to California.
