After hours of searching these pages I found one pic of a lefthand fitted bracket to mount the filterelbow to.
Can anyone help me with measurements to refit the bracket at the correct position please

If you're running a stock-ish engine, you might consider going with a slightly earlier style air filter which mounts on the fanshroud instead of the roof of the engine compartment.
I put these in all my buses, just simpler to install and remove.
Its a type 261 air cleaner, stamped on the upper round air housing.
Some have a 261 part number, some a 211.
