I'm building a pirate ship in a couple of trees for my boys and have got the hull 12 feet up there with a stairway through 5 trees to get up.
Working on the crows nest, 40 feet up from that.
Pictures haven't come out good from the lighting issues involved with looking up into a canopy in the jungle of kauai.
Will work on that.
Aloha!

They did a nice pirate ship on that BudLight commercial Wink

Sounds like a pretty cool project.

When I was a kid, we had a fort 30' up in an old growth tree (now gone to make way for a parking lot, of course). Dodgy 2x4 scraps nailed to the trunk for a ladder. Natural selection failed, only one kid fell climbing up, and he only got a broken arm. With everyone having stay-at-home-moms, we needed to create our own place to get in trouble. Kids today don't have that issue.
