So I finally get the guy to wrap it up for shipment and contact the shipper. He now says they just changed their regulations and only do dock to dock...ARGH!

Nimbus...who did you use?

Hmm...good questions, that was 4 years ago. Let me see if I can find it. I knew it was about $450 to ship it. I looked through my emails and I couldn't find anything at quick glance.

But to get an idea on price now, search LTL shipping.

Why yes,yes I have...Every day...
I am a LTL driver..you name it we haul it (just about)
That is what LTL shipping is for everything from a one time customer to same shipments everyday.

A few tips.

*Terminal to Terminal shipping is the cheapest way to do it.
*Residential p/u and Delv is extra..why?? Because it is usally some place a Truck shouldn't be and takes more time than doing a business stop.
* Make a nice create & do a good job on strapping it to the create/ pallet. Just remember how far your freight will be traveling and it will be moved several times during transit.

Most LTL companies will give you a one time discount for new customers

Plenty of shipping (brokers)web sites that can shop for you.

Uship is also a decent place to shop...can always put an offer price on there and see if someone takes it...never know someone just might need a side load or backhaul just to get out of the area they are in.

Good luck

Well it was picked up finally.

First try they didn't have a pallet jack.

Second try they had the pallet jack but no liftgate on the truck.

Third time a charm.

Of course I go into the tracking and they have the weight listed now as 570lbs. The machine I bought was 350lbs and it was on two pallets.

I have contacted Jeremy and he has been very responsive. So far I give him an A+ for responsiveness. Lets just see how it all ends up working out.

Fingers crossed.

Item was delivered as promised. Some small snags along the way but Jeremy was always very responsive and dealt with them.

I would recommend him.
