Has anyone done this? I have an old pair that I want to give to my kid but the foam is shot. I have found foam online but it doesn't mention if it would be ok to put on your skin.

I don't know if there is any difference between ski goggles, etc
Thicker foam would be better since he wears glasses

I'd get an old pair of ski goggles from a thrift store if you can find them and experiment. Usually a little heat will allow the foam to peel from the plastic.

This is excellent advice! I did this with an old bicycle helmet- it does work.

Or you can just buy the exact foam at virtually any rubber supply house. For something that small you can probably get scraps for next to nothing. Most medium size and large cities have at least one major rubber supply. If not....there are plenty online.
Pull up the Thomas Register and you should have a list in a minute. Ray
