May 03, 2015 - Spring Picnic hosted by Orange Empire Bus Company
Yorba Linda, California
Don't miss out on the 16th Annual Spring Picnic hosted by The Orange Empire Bus Company. This year the show will be held at the end of the road on the campground side and not it's normal area up front. So with this said, where you end up camping, this will be your spot for the show! So come out and enjoy the day parked on grass under large trees. Gates open at 6:30 in the morning. The day will be packed full of fun.
-Hot-Dog Fred will be on-scene grilling up his legendary Bratwursts and Hot-Dogs.
-Our swap meet is expected to be full to capacity.
-And we will once again be running SLOW-DRAGS. Slow drags are free to enter with two classes (type 2 and all other VWs) The winner of each class wins a $200 Gift Certificate donated by Wolfsburg West.
-Bring family and friends and enjoy a truly unique Volkswagen event in a truly unique park setting.
- Admission is free to drivers of aircooled VWs. Passengers and spectators pay a low $5 each
-ALL-Aircooled VW campout starts Friday, May 1st at noon.
-All Aircooled VW "drive-in" will be set up Saturday night again, compliments of Jebus with free popcorn served by Wolfsburg West.
DON'T MISS IT!!

May 01, 2015 - Spring Picnic Campout
Yorba Linda, California
Bring your friends and family and come out for the Pre-Spring Picnic Campout. The fun starts at Noon on Friday and continues until early Sunday morning where the even-more-fun Spring Picnic begins. Bring your barbecues and ice chests and enjoy camping on grass with LOTS of other VWs. Saturday at dusk we will once again be setting up the big screen and showing a Volkswagen extravaganza on the big screen compliments of "the Jebus" with free popcorn from your friends at Wolfsburg West. Campout is open to AIRCOOLED VWs only. $20 per night/per vehicle. No prereservation is required.
Email [email protected] for more info.

Thanks for posting Johnny.
This is a great show for all to attend. Plenty of shady trees and a laid back atmosphere for all to enjoy.
The swap seems to get bigger and bigger each year as well.
Great cars, great people, great food! You don't want to miss it..... _________________ ----VW's in my garage----

The OEBC Spring Picnic is one of the hippest, coolest VW events anywhere. What with the drive in movie experience on Saturday evening, wake up Sunday - after sleeping in, and you are right there. No lines. Slow drags: I used to not like them. Then I tried it. What a cool gig.
Everyone should do it.
So, be there or be square! |

It's gonna be a good one! It always is!
The campout actually starts Thursday at noon this year.
I hear there will be a caravan leaving Saturday morning to attend the IVVW show at Wolfsburg West.
Just Cruizin VW club will be cooking free hot-dogs again during the movie Saturday night, and of course Wolfsburg West will be popping the popcorn.
This show gets better every year! |

this is one of my favorite shows of the year. there's nothing better then VW's and camping. I've been the last two years and am going to this one for sure.
With all the activities this show has to offer it really is in a league of it's own.
See everyone there.

We'll be there Sunday for sure. Love all the shade and grass for a show.
Chino air show same weekend, so we'll miss the WW soiree to go stare at the sun for a few hours, but I wouldn't miss the slow drags! |

I called the park and asked about reservations. They mentioned the rv spots are booked ,but the vws are camping in the youth camp area, or a seperate area. They mentioned if I arrive Saturday, it's 20 dollars to camp. I'm just trying to understand whether or not some type of reservation is required, or is it first come first served. I noticed the flyer mentions prereservation is required. If so, where are those made? I've emailed the oebc info address and am waiting for a reply. Does anyone have any information here? Thank you in advance for any help. Take care all. |

If you drive in a VW there is no reservation required. The very back end of the campground is reserved for VWs and you choose your spot. _________________ Just Cruzin VW Club~Est. 1998 |
