Amazing!
but if I had your skills (and family) I would have gone for a hatch to access the rear shelf. I think the 3rd door is a bigger attention grabber though.

I totally agree about an access hatch to rear shelf but when my wife and I sketched it out on paper, it kind of made the backseat area look over exposed ( at least on paper with our chicken scratch drawings) we weren't sure, ( scared to death) so as always we played it safe with practicality in mind and took the route we did. Not to sound funny or anything,, we honestly did they third door just to be able to load groceries, luggage, and lawn chairs a lot easier. People have closely examined the car with all doors closed and totally missed the 3rd door until we point it out.especially kids, which is really cool to them to let them jump in and have a picture taken.

Just curious what you have going on in the rear driver side seat. Is that a subwoofer under the cooler instead of a seat?

Yes, rear seat bottom was removed and a single 60 to 64 front seat was placed in back ( front seats are 65 to 67 seats ) behind drivers seat is car battery with kill switch to side ( not visible) not a subwoofer but actually a very stout speaker box with walmart $69.95 speakers (3 way)and a contoured lip on top to hold cooler in place.speaker box is able to be placed outside of vehicle for entertaining.

So I think this question is - did you reinforce the car somehow so the floor would not bend, or was there no need to?

I love it!
From there, I'd set up a great handling, lower suspension, and make it STUPID fast.
But yeah, it's gorgeous.

No need to reinforce body, floor,or any other point besides mounting of door hinge. Secret to success of door mounting is all in the custom made from scratch door hinge. No engineers here just old fashioned manual labor
