hi, in my dads euro 60 ragtop the rear most headliner bow in the ragtop assembly keeps popping out of the channel and it is driving me nuts!!!
another thing that is pissing me off is the rubber strips attached to the headliner that go up the door jams keep popping out of the clamping strip and i cant seem to get it to stay in. i even tried gluing it in the channel!!! is there anyway to fix these two thing from happening? |

You're talking about the sunroof portion of the headliner then? I think most of those "bows" got tossed when the original headliner went bad a few decades ago. I've went and made my own replacements though - just welding rod that I painted to keep from rusting, and if they want to slide out of the loop in the headliner material I just use a needle and thread and a put a couple of stitches in there at the end of the loop. I'm assuming you mean this, photo of sliding the rod in place:
The other thing, the windlace as it's called, I've seen them creep a little but not quite to how you are describing. Are these original or aftermarket vinyl?
