We'd like to announce our 2015 events.
Some changes, most the same
4-26-15 The CVA’s 25th Annual Spring Dust-off, Mansfield Hollow State Park 195 Bassett Bridge Road, Mansfield, CT from 9am to 3pm. Held rain or shine. This is an informal, non-judged car show. Dash Plaques to the first 100 cars. Last year we had almost 250 cars, so arrive early. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the cars and your fellow VW comrades! No alcohol or burnouts!
5-17-15 The CVA’s 4th Annual Swap and Meet-Up "NEW LOCATION" Address: EMI PARTS 161 West Main St. Clinton, CT 06413. A fun gathering of VW’s both new and old. Dash plaques for the first 100 cars, food trucks, and more. Directions, I-95 North/South take Exit 63, turn South onto Rt. 81, turn right onto Rt. 1 South and look for "VW" signs. Also check out our website for Hotel and Off Site Camping information. BOOK A SITE NOW BECAUSE THEY WILL BE GONE QUICKLY, since it is by the beach.
Don’t miss the FIRST VW Swap Meet in Connecticut for 2015! VENDORS WELCOMED! 9am-2pm. $5 for show cars, $10 for any size swap space, and general admission: FREE!
6-13-15 Cardone & Daughter “VW” Day Address: Cardone & Daughter Automotive, 177 Boston Post Road Westbrook, Ct. 06498. Enjoy an informal open house for all Volkswagen and vintage cars from 10-2pm. Tour the shop and talk with the experts. Free coffee and donuts to begin our day, then hot dogs and burgers on the grill at noon
7-12-15 The CVA’s 11th Annual Volks-Meet Address: Westbrook Elks Club 142 Seaside Ave. Westbrook, Ct. 06498. Show is open to all Volkswagen and German cars, owners and fans. Dash plaques and goody bags to the first 100 cars. Come and spend a hot summer day with your vdub at the beach! Directions, I-95 North or South take Exit 65, turn South onto Rt.153, turn South onto Rt.1, and turn left onto Seaside Ave.
Time: 9am-2pm. $10 for show cars, $20 for any size swap space, general admission: FREE!
9-5-15 Montesi Volkswagen & the CVA’s 4th Annual Das Auto all VW Car Show. Address: Montesi Volkswagen 444 State St. North Haven, Ct. 06473 from 9am – 2pm (rain or shine) $5 for show cars, $10 swap space, general admission FREE! Come and join us for a fun day of VW’s, live music, food trucks, and more…
10-18-15 The CVA’s 17th Annual Fall Foliage Cruise, 1111 Boston Post Rd (RT 1) Old Saybrook, CT from 9am to ??? Held rain or shine this event will begin at Old Saybrook High School, and will wind through the scenic roads of Connecticut with a few stops along the way. Please bring a picnic lunch. There will be a dinner after the cruise for those that are interested. Come and enjoy the colors of fall with us |

Just map quested directions...they say address for the park is 31 old willimantic road chaplin ct 06235. Mansfield Hollow State Park 195 Bassett Bridge Road, Mansfield, CT...that address isn't in their database. Is the willimantic address a good one?
