My '65 still shuts off on me when it feels likeit.Runs great for a while and out of nowhere it wants to shutoff and i have to fight with the gas pedal to preventit from leaving me rolling to the side of the road, but then it starts running at regular idle again, change fuel pump, fuel filter, filter is still clean so i know tank is good, could it be a dirty carb or?dont know what to do this is really killing my nice day out with the '65...HELP

pull, inspect, clean and/or replace filter sock on bottom of the tank.

Next time it does that on you, let it die and take off the top of the carb to see if it is full or not. If full you are getting fuel from tank to pump to carb.

If you are getting fuel, then it is time to clean to carb and best to clean it twice.

Are you sure you're not getting carburetor ice? They'll act like that. Run bad, shut off, and about time you get off the road, start back up and run fine. Just a thought.

Someone told me to replace the Coil's condenser. Can this be an isue on why my '65 cuts off in the middle of a nice ride and sometimes not even start for an hour?

Sounds like dirty carb or manifold ice. If you can keep it running by giving it gas, then fuel is probably getting to the carb ok. But yes, also check the condenser and the rest of the ignition system. The last post with a similar problem had a frayed wire coming off the condenser.

Another vote for dirty carb here.
