Need recomendations for a shifter that is bent back about 4"-6". from stock for my Baja. After mounting the seats further back it's hard to reach 1st and 3rd.
I am thinking about the Scat Dragfast for early bugs.

Stock 67 down shifters have that bend to them, not sure how much. Hurst and EMPI knock offs are pretty nice too.

Thanks, i will look at them. I was considering the bugpac shiftright but was told it only bends back about 2".
In the photo below you can see how i raised the shift plate and brake plate. The body has a 3" lift and 3 rib trans. After mounting the seats i realized i should of moved the shifter back.
Anybody know how far back the Early Scat handle is bent?

Yes I was having a little fun with design. The shift rod itself runs inside the steering part and out the back and to the trans. I have to stop looking at Steampunk sites!!!!!!!

You can always get a bus shifter bend and cut as necessary. I've seen it done in rat rods.
