Does anyone know if where I can get a driver side front fender and a hood made from fiberglass? I just want to get the car rolling already and fix since I got into a fender bener with just damage to those things. Let me know.

Ralph, over at Innovations does have front fenders, but nobody makes a front hood. I've considered producting them at one time but dropped the idea. I do have fiberglass front-ends, and rear fenders.

Back in the '70's, my brother and I ran an L-Gas VW drag car. We were using acid dipped fenders to lighten the car. We got it down to under 1000 lbs. Thought we would try fiberglass hood and front fenders. We found when we got them, the weighed more than the steel fenders we were running.

The chopper gun fenders are very heavy, but the handlaid stuff is light. We made some super light hand-laid doors, but at the finish line the door would suck in, so we glassed in some brake lie tubing in a "X" problem solved.

Lay me up a carbon fiber FB body, and I might be a player Smile

Or maybe something like this, to sit on my '71's floor pan.
