Well, I searched a lot and couldn't find much close to this problem.

In finishing-up a 2056 T-4 (914 2000CC base), I was checking the pin-to-rod-to-pistons-cylinders fit. Three of the four fit and went together just like the manual says they should. However, one has a problem: the pin fits the rebuilt re-bushed rod correctly, but doesn't go into the piston.

My understanding is that the lubricated pin should just slide into the piston bosses with light finger pressure. Three of the four were no problem, and the clearances seem correct. But one of them has some issue. The pistons and pins came as an all-new set together, so I'm stumped by this. I don't want to damage anything, so I'm looking for suggestions. Thanks for any help.

Hi
You should try harder its not easy as finger pressure.
Two tips:
Drop the pin into a freezer for something like 10 minutes
Then try again it should be easier (you can knock of the top of the pin with copper hummer)
Good luck!
