Tom's post is mostly for the Manx club. For the first time in years I'll be there, but without my car, so I'll only be wandering the field on Saturday. |

You don't have to be a Manx Club member to do any of the things we have set up at Carlisle, although the club has arranged for the tent. It is an "open" get together. Enjoy! Tom _________________ Manxter #16, 1968 Meyers Manx & Kick-Out SS #16 (WIP)

I plan on being there. My youngest son and I will most likely be leaving Friday morning, arriving early afternoon. We're planning on tent camping Friday night and staying in a hotel Saturday night. Sunday he goes to Penn State for a science fair and wanted to be fresh.
Letterman7 - You'll get to see your old Corvair motor again. It's been a challenge but I'm slowing getting it dialed in!

I had the best dune buggy day ever at Carlisle. Met Bruce and Winnie, they really are great people. Thank you Bruce, for creating these great little cars. |

For those that missed it, here is a link to a short video of the Buggies pulling out on a 2 hours cruise.
What I really like about these cars is depicted pretty well in this vid, while most might be Manx's, they all are different and reflect the various taste of the individual owners.

This was organized by the Manx Club, that accepts all type of buggy's and the Carlisle Show is well worth attending if you ever have the cnace. _________________ Boston Bob E.

Thanks for the video Bim. I like buggies for the same reason, they can be built som many ways and reflect the owner's vision. And they bring a smile to everyone's face.

Hey Madmanx1,
First I like your userID
Check out this thread and see that I'm going to be pretty close to you in a few weeks. If you haven't joined the Manx Club already, you should consider it. You could join the caravan from Port Jervis to Buffalo.
