Helping him with a camper interior would be great for both of you. Just remember...he's a teenager and so is your daughter. You really want him to have a bus with a bed in it? _________________ Judy

Wow, everybody's made really good points. My wife and I have discussed the "rolling bed" factor, believe me.
He doesn't even have his license yet so that's first. I think he's planning on picking up a cheap car as a daily driver and only driving the bus on special occasions. Supposedly it runs great; his dad restored it before he passed away and it's been sitting waiting for his son to be old enough to drive it.
One thing I know for sure, he's never selling it. His grandmother helped his father restore it and the bus's future is set in stone.
Now that I know the bus was a standard microbus I'm just thinking original style panels are the way to go. What were they covered in and is it possible to find templates to make them? |

I've made templates with poster board. When marking the holes, I find one and stick a screwdriver in it. Leave the screwdriver and mark one opposite with another screwdriver. Leave it to hold things steady. Use a third screwdriver to punch all the others. _________________ Judy
