Has any one come up with a better solution? The normal brackets and rubber knobs seem to be janky and the trunk rubs causing scratches on the targa, I want to paint mine but not until I find a better solution for the targa storage.
cheers,

I have glued strips of thin carpet to the trunk lid framing to avoid metal contact on the roof when stored in trunk. on another 914 I did not want to glue carpet so I simply place a nice big beach towel over the top to protect it from the trunk lid. Either method works very well. _________________ Help Prevent VW Engine Fires, see this link.....Engine safety wire information
