I'm installing redline weber 40 idfs on my bug with a stock fan shroud. The kit included new throttle arms that are long and have 3 holes on each arm (where linkage hooks up to). They are long enough that they hit the fresh air ducts on the shroud. It looks like they'll clear if I cut them down to the middle hole.

Anyone have the same issue?

Any idea what hole you'd normally use?

I'm gonna cut them here in a min but had hoped for some reassurance first.

The arms the instructions told me to remove look like the ones in the empi hpmx kit pictures.

Got my answer so I'll share it incase anyone has same issue.

Grind/cut off everything past middle hole. Use middle hole.

Didn't think ACN would answer on a sat but they did
