A gallon should give you some extra when you are done. |

I tried posting this in the "paint" section with no response so thought I would try here.
I got a sample from Nason of the "L-31" and shot a sample piece and it's WAY to light compared to the original dove blue on my '55 SC.
Anyone have the formula for Nason L-31 Dove Blue? Need to purchase pait this week.
Thanks in advance. |

You will need to take an og dove blue piece in to them and have them work the tint until it matches your og piece. Gas door is an easy one. It's never right on the first cut. One well-known bus restorer swears there is an early and late dove blue as well and they are different. |

I wish I still had a pc to bring in to scan. Only section I have that's original is the inside roof. Everything was primed when I got the truck. Would you happen to have OG pc I could borrow to get scanned? |

Test fitting the door. Drivers side is almost spot on but the passenger one is not. Looks like it will need some "work" on the top hinge. Good thing we left the hinges to paint last. Side note the black specs are from my camera.
