Hi,
Is someone thinks to make a repro of the originals parts sunroof 3 ply leather and bakelite for split window 50/54?
I have parts in very nice shape, one of you on this forum would it be interested in re-manufacturing

These are cheesy plastic bits.
The OP wants to know about reproduction leather ones, exact copes of the originals. The wolfsburg west and vwsunroofs.com pieces are modern replacements and are nothing like the original pieces.

Yes 56reddy  the parts have nothing to do with the original parts, they are shorter and less thick!
White plastic is too rigid unlike leather. |

I made some sets for my own cars (2 beetles and one samba).
It is very time consuming to make but I am willing to sell some sets.

Hi Jorge, Do you still make the rebuild parts like above. In your current ad the parts don'tlook the same. They just look like brown plastic. You say in the ad original material but it doesnt look like leather. I want to rebuild my sunroof with as close to original parts as possible.

Hi
These parts are not plastic nor leather. If a photo is taken with a lighter background they look look more dark brown.
