They were an interesting attempt to modernize the 'buggy'. Not to my taste but Beetle lines - Beetle power, etc.

My question.. as the sale gets you thanks and a handwritten receipt, is the sale of this vehicle even legal? You hear of confiscated Toyota J40s and LandRover diesels... what about this?

Generally speaking most mexico cars probably wont pass DOT standards to be imported here but..... It might fly if its done as a "kit car" which that could pass as.
