Question. In previous years, I have paid swap meet entry fee on saturday and gotten in. Last year the dude at the gate charged me the 40 bucks and then insisted I needed to pay $20 to camp since I was "camping" at the swap area. At the same time he swore the price has not gone up. What's the deal? |

I think it's always been $60 to swap and camp. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.

I also agree. If you are staying the night you have to pay for a camping fee. I've been going for more than 20 years & this has been the case all of those years. _________________ Home of the one true split Bus Motorhome |

I liked it a lot better when they gave awards for 1st-3rd in stock and custom categories. This year the prices went up and less awards were given out. _________________ ~Tarzan

I think car shows should do away with trophies altogether. |

We are sorry you feel that way. We changed the awards to the new style so the participants didn't have to take up their whole day picking cars. We also dropped the prices when we changed the awards, not raised them. See the 2013 flyer below.
We are also contemplating getting rid of the car show awards all together. That way the car show participants can just park their VW's and hang out and have a great relaxing day!

bring back real judging. participant judging is so skewed. The nicest car there didn't get an award. He probably didn't have enough friends to vote for him. (sea blue 21 window) |
