I just received a set of radiator air deflectors from Gowesty to install on my 83 Vanagon. The problem is: my van didn't have these when I bought it (I assume the cardboard was rotted out and someone tossed them) but I cannot for the life of me figure out how they mount to the van. Can someone send me a picture of theirs installed or tell me where they go exactly and where/how they mount. Probably a silly question, but I'm stumped. Thanks all.

Page 19.12 in your Bentley service manual has the pictures of the baffles on the radiator your looking for.

Yea ..... I've studied the Bentley picture and can't figure it out.

I could really use a posted picture of the fastening point for the side pieces. Thanks.

Speed nut clipped to the cardboard, plus one sheet metal screw on each side of lower grille:

Two screws into standoffs on the bottom of the radiator...two examples from Alistair:
