My 16- yr old son chose Savannah Beige for the '66 we are restoring. There was a nice exterior shot of one on the Technical/Paint section that caught his eye. Unfortunately there were no clear interior shots.

We are changing it from Sea Sand. The car came with the black door panels and seat covers. The goal is a clean street look with Empi Sprint Stars that came off my '65 from nearly 30 years ago (tempus fugit). Laughing
(Thanks Frank356 for saving them too)

Any suggestions on interior combos you've seen on other L620 bugs? I guess I should mention we're looking at offerings from TMI, WW and others.

We will post some photos later. Just got the body and pan to bolt together. (That's another post unto itself).

I lloked for Savannah Beige for 66 color chart and did not see one. Look at link below to see original colors for your year bug!

Good luck! - I like Stock colors and style!

Depends on what he's looking for: stock or otherwise. Did a quick search in the gallery and came up with:

I love Savannah Beige. My '69 came stock with that color.

Afrer viewing the above pics, I vote for a solid black for a clean street look. Nothing else I've seen works for me.

I was going to do my 67 in that color (it was the original color) and I thought this 2 tone interior would look great in it.

It really has to do with whether you want a contrasting interior, or one that compliments the exterior with a color that is somewhat different--but without a vivid contrast. this is the interior color I have in my Super Beetle Sun Bug. The contrast is minimal, but I like it. Eventually, I will remove the black carpet and install Oatmeal.

The seat/door panel color is "Saddle", made by TMI.
