They are real easy to make just get some plexy and heat it with a propane torch and bend.
My freind made one for his 23 and it only took less than a hour from tracing to install,I think he bent it around a log.

Here is the heat stamp I made for the reproduction corner windows offered by Mark L. Notice it is the mirror image to give the correct impression on the outside of the window. The stamp is mounted on the end of a soldering iron and the temperature is precisely controlled by adjusting the power supply.

(Alternatively, you can scratch the logo in the Plexiglas by holding a rusty nail with vice-grips and heating it with a bic lighter. The problem with bending the plexy over a log here in the US is all our trees are standard size. The metric trees from the Black Forest in Germany are perfect for this process.)

I have heard that there are other reproductions being "offered", but have never seen a set.

My '54 Deluxe has the Plexiglass logo in the top corner however I was looking at some close up pics of the '51 15 Barndoor Deluxe recently and the Plexiglass logo was in the bottom corner???....maybe pre'52 corner windows were different?

Do you have a photo of the '51 to share? I think the stamp was put on by hand looking at the variation in locations and the inconsistency of the impression. I heard that some early BD's have the skylight windows in Plexiglas, have you seen this?

The problem Mark L. was having with the stamp originally was getting it to release properly and not mess up the plexi when pulling the stamp away. I hooked him up with some mold release wax and solved that issue.

I tried a spray teflon mold release but it was too volatile and would vaporize and make bubbles in the Plexi., that's when I turned over the blanks and the heat-stamp to Mark. The mold wax was the ticket...the impression looks great now....thanks for the help.

Need Lind to confirm with his 'factory changes' book, my bus has one glass, one plexi, the glass was large logo sekurit. Obviously not OG

tonny's www.barndoor.dk says
'All De-Luxe busses had "Plexiglas" rear corner windows until
ch. number 20-116 471'

logo is always on top left of perspex, whether LH or RH piece
gerson lists repros too, i believe ($300)

This came up recently at a show so here's the page from Progressive Refinements:

Hi Mic.

I'm looking for a pair of corner windows for the Quality Sound deluxe, and I know a friend needs a set for his '53. Maybe you'd consider making a small run to help a few others out and offset your costs a little?

3/16" thickness plexiglass or about 4.5mm

many places that form acrylic can make rear corner windows if you have a pattern. Try contacting companies that make custom boat windshields. they can make as few as you like.
