Taking my head block off to replace gasket, and I dont know how to get the exhaust manifold off,Bently says i need a special tool to get the C clips off to bottom?

You can make the tool to remove them, search on youtube or other forums. Or just remove the 8 nuts for head to mani and leave it on downpipe.
