Went to the concert last night here in San Diego.
It was fantastic, we had a great time and they sounded wonderful. Brian actually looked like he was enjoying himself. My kids thought Brian looked like a grumby old man. I guess we would all look like that if we lived his life.
If you get the chance go.... |

Ever hear of "Kenny and the Cadets"?
How about "The Pendeltones"?
I certainly hope Brian is able to deal with Mike, and keep him at bay.
I saw something on the QVC channel, of all places, with Brian, Mike, Al, David Marks, and Bruce Johnston
(who, interestingly enough, got his start with the Beach Boys after Brian had his first meltdown on the way to a concert in Texas, and Bruce was the main man behind the Rip Chords, who had the one hit wonder "Hey Little Cobra"
They seemed all happy and stuff, but Brian was still a little nervous, and staying away from Mike.... _________________ 2003 Samba Chummie Winner- Best Story

HEY-------if ya put some chopped celery and shaved carrots in it and top it with a dollop of Miracle-Whip, it is a salad that is greatly enjoyed in any
Lutheran Church basement. |

Just more of Mike being the world class asshole, that he excels at...this time, he even booted Al Jardine, who, other than Brian, is the only other original Beach Boy.
What a waste of perfectly good breathing air and human skin he is !! _________________ 2003 Samba Chummie Winner- Best Story

I'm still confused as to why anyone would care about this group of geriatric losers. |
Who would you lump into the group of "contemporary winners?" I'm bracing myself for lots of fodder for acerbic comments, as god knows I have plenty for most of the entertainers that most guys revere. lol |
