Thanks,
Bobby

Thanks for the info.
Does it affix to something that protrudes ??
The standoffs are so short one could hardly hang a towel on it. |

The end castings attach directly to the wood ceiling of the tall closet- so when you swing a hook over it- it maximizes the available height. Technically, it need only be a touch over the thickness of your average wire coat hanger (commonly used in those days) to do the job. And, it takes some serious G-forces to knock a hanger off the low-clearance bar. _________________

Oh, I see. Thanks for the explanation.
Is this for certain years ? Is it somewhat rare ?
I have a Kamper Kit that I would use it in unless it's something that is hard to find & would be better off in it's natural home. |

Certainly verify with the gallery shots- but I know my '65 Westfalia has them, and I've seen one on an early bay Westy. There are usually one or two in the classifieds, too. They are not very rare- at least one per camper. _________________
