It will have to work for now. When sleeping you just move the two seats together and pile the pillows at the foot end.

Nice! Can you post up a picture of your sleeping quarters all set up for a good nights rest? I'm curious to see this set up as I'm looking into fabricating some sort of camper interior? Thank you.

Sure... This is how it looks when the first row seat is moved backward againt the rear seat. At the foot end the pillows are stacked. Ideally the pillows should be in the same hight as the seat level. I missed that... The passed weekend I was out with the family camping. Two adults, two kids and a very happy dog all slept in the barndoor Razz

Johnny I could see Cun-phalia interior in Baboon in the near future! Looks right up your alley!

Good looking out Moe Reese ……… I was actually down in the North Shore of Cambodia with Cuñado and Comrade, talking about Comrade’s Siberian Barndoor Camping interior and Cuñado’s “Cun-Phalia” kit. We took some measurement’s for my 54 Kombi. So I will have a “Cun-Phalia” kit in my bus by the end of the year. Though the plan is to get a tow hitch made by Comrade Fabrications so I can mount that mug on my 54 Kombi and start using my Heilite!! I want to start using that instead!! Though use the “Cun-Phalia” kit when it’s cold and blast the “Heater Buddy”!!!

This is my original Barndoor (So-WHAT) weakender kamping kit, "recreation". I copied it from an original pattern I found in the back of an old issue of Unpopular Mechanics. I also up graded to the water mattress and the super rare 'South' CamPbodian black out shades! I have a friend who has an uncle who knew a guy in the 'South' Campbodian military that got me these black out shades. They where used in Deluxe buses up to '58 (so, not totally correct for BD). They were for foreign dignitaries when they traveled through the country in their early buses.... like I said...SUPER RARE! and they were NOS...until I used them of course...

Notice the 'dealer installed' matching table and chairs? Correct for Deluxe and Standards up to '58 as well...AND the matching Sealing Wax Red suitcases! It a complete package Wink

Scotty, there is no way anyone can sleep that way in your bus! Its just way too short?!

That's the 'folded away' seating layout. The sleeping layout takes up the whole floor space Wink I'm pretty sure you still wouldn't fit though Doug....

That is some hardcore Westfalia swag right there. I see you also have the upgraded 'shag carpet remnants' to replace the standard sisal mat. Baller all the way!
