Just going through some boxes of misc. old bus bits that came with the 67 deluxe I bought a few years ago and found 3 coat hooks.
I know they don't belong on a later split window bus, and by looking through various forums, it seems that they belong to a very early bus.
Can anyone out there tell me if these are originals or old re-pops? - they are clearly made of aluminum, but I am just not up on the old splits so have know way of knowing if these are originals as there are no markings (that I can see).
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks

Not sure about Standards... or anything pre-52.

52-58 Deluxes have your style (have more rounded tips).

The aluminum ones (pointy style) are 59-63 only.

64-67 are the little plastic hooks. They mount with sheet metal screws.

Yes, the style you pictured were used through 1958.
Start date? Unknown. At least 1953.

I would assume they are originals as the only repros were made very recently.

I've got drilled and tapped factory holes in my 54 that I asume are for coat hooks. There are 3 pairs of holes. They are 75 mm in distance from each other in each pair of holes. What is the distance between the holes in your hooks?
