I am finishing up the van resto, or what I refer to a restoration. I have a grill that has some cracks and missing pieces. I also have another grill that I am planning on cuutting out to repair the good one. This is the plastic Vanagon grill.

I have on hand some Evercoat fiberglass body filler. Could I use this as an adhesive? I want to cut out the bad and put in a new piece from the donor grill.

Thanks,

Body filler & fiberglass resin are both gonna be necessary to repair/glue a decent grill together out of 2 grills. Lucky you can repaint it to finish the job. Cool

I ended up using the FG filler. I worked out great. Not the most perfect looking job but it is a 10 footer.

Thanks
