Is it possible to swop a triangular (more traditional) bezel on to the "Viewline Series" instrument gauge/gage?
I've spotted a - so far - cheap, new VDO "Viewline" gauge on Ebay.
It's just that I prefer the triangular bezel myself.

Well I believe I can answer my own question.
After what seemed like a complete waste of time searching, I came across this site:

It would appear that the bezels CAN be swapped but "probably" not with the "classic gauge" bezel. It looks like the inner profile of the bezel is more complicated in the Viewline lgauges.
Don't know if this info is any use to anyone else but it seemed to clarify it for me.
Back to the drawing board . . .
