Trying to set up an avatar - no luck.

Here is the picture I'd like to use as my avatar but it won't accept it saying it has to be smaller than 12kb.
I've shrunk it down to about the size of pencil eraser but no luck. Can a moderator do this for me some how??

Man that's tiny. I would think it would work but I' can't seem to get it to.

Size issue may not be in how many k-bytes picture is,... Most avatar are something like 60x60 pixels (size)...

Also be sure its a compressed .jpg...
