bearing quality

Is an FAG brand of bearing as good a quality as SKF? I ordered axle bearings and was hoping for SKF but got FAG. I see that FAG is made in Korea.

In general...FAG has been as good and many times better....than SKF. I would not have any problem with a Korean made FAG bearing. With the quality level being made in S. Korea these days and FAG quality control they are probably far better than most of your choices. Ray
