I assume that you have the appropriate Bentley Service Manual for your car.
You will see the location in figure 73 on page 48 of section 10 in that book.
(the horn mounts to the horn bracket under the left front fender directly behind the horn grill which is below the left headlight.)

Silly to assume he has a Bentley. Also equally silly to attempt a complete restoration without a Bentley.

The horn attaches with the front-most bumper bracket bolt, hanging down.

Believe it or not, No. I did order it on monday however - I swear to God! LOL!
Ok, all i have is the horn on a straight bracket.

I need to add some information here..... there was front end metal replaced on this car (gone now, naturally) and I believe the point. or hole where the horn mounted is now gone. this is why i cant find where it goes.

Since I was just looking a thread about adding a horn relay under the car, recalled there was a photo of the horn mounted, this example is of 1966 or older, but the horn mount should be the same.

Sorry about my smart-ass reply. Embarassed
I suppose it would be hard to figure out where to mount the horn if the bracket wasn't there anymore.
I would think that you could make a simple sheet metal "L" bracket and screw it to the inner fender instead of welding and messing up your new paint.

No offense taken Iowegian. I was looking under the fender saying "I ain't brain dead yet! Where the hell did I take this off from???? So I started combing through the pictures and sure enough, I realized the bracket wasn't there anymore. The woman I bought it from had an accident prior and the fronts of the inner panels were so wrinkled they were pathetic. So I bou new from WW and had the shop replace that along with the rear luggage tray.
It's coming along now and yes, I'll need to make a bracket to mount the horn to as well.
